Welcome to YoPas!

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of YoPas, an online ticketing and event access platform ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website [insert website URL] or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

1. Definitions

  • YoPas: The online ticketing system and related services provided by Utrax Agency Ltd.
  • User: Anyone who accesses or uses YoPas, including event organizers, ticket buyers, and attendees.
  • Organizer: A person or entity using YoPas to create, manage, or sell tickets for events.
  • Customer or Attendee: An individual purchasing or using a ticket through YoPas.

2. Use of Website

You agree to use YoPas in compliance with all applicable laws, including Uganda’s Electronic Transactions Act, 2011. You are prohibited from:

  • Using the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  • Attempting to interfere with the platform’s operation or accessing data not intended for you.
  • Engaging in activities that could harm YoPas or its users.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and must notify us immediately at help@utrax.co.ug of any unauthorized use or security breach.
YoPas employs industry-standard security measures to protect your account, but you remain responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Ticket Purchases and Payments

Ticket availability and terms are set by the event Organizer.
YoPas facilitates ticket transactions but is not responsible for the event itself.
Tickets are non-refundable unless explicitly stated by the Organizer.
A service fee may apply to ticket purchases, which will be clearly displayed before checkout.
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

5. Event Organizers

Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event listings (e.g., dates, prices, venues) and compliance with all applicable laws and permits.
Organizers must honor all tickets sold through YoPas.
Revenue from ticket sales will be disbursed to Organizers per the agreed terms with YoPas.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

If an event is canceled, the Organizer is responsible for issuing refunds.
YoPas may assist in processing refunds but is not liable for non-delivery of refunds.
Refund policies are set by the Organizer and will be communicated at the time of purchase.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Engage in fraud, false advertising, or intellectual property infringement.
  • Disrupt or interfere with YoPas’s functionality, servers, or networks.

8. Third-Party Links

YoPas may contain links to third-party websites or services not owned or controlled by us.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites. You access these links at your own risk and should review their terms and policies.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on YoPas, including logos, software, and design elements, is the property of Utrax Agency Ltd or its licensors.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the platform without our written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

YoPas is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

YoPas does not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.
We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Privacy

Your use of YoPas is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to YoPas for violations of these Terms or for any reason deemed necessary, without prior notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Ugandan courts.

15. Amendments

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of YoPas after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
